Gaps of Boredom!

Life in Jesus Ministries.  Gaps of Boredom Our Mind is the most dynamic traveller and critical thinker created by God to Worship Him and to explore the depths of His majesty which can't be perceived by the physical being. Whenever we are engaged in a certain activity, the mind redirects the thought process towards the activity but when we aren't doing anything, the mind doesn't stop thinking. It needs something to think upon, it needs something to pedal the cycle which is going down the hill and our mind picks up the activity which our flesh desires to do and it starts to think in that direction. Try some introspection and think of that one mobile application or game which you open so frequently that there's no reason to open that app but still your boredom has programmed your mind to open that app or game that the reflex works without even considering the reason. It might be Facebook feed, Whatsapp, Insta feed or any addictive game but you're so habituated t

Answer to your enemy.

Then David said to the Philistine , "You come to me with a sword , with a spear , and with javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.  -1 Samuel 17:45 What are things that are troubling you and snatching your peace away? What are the things in your life that are occupying a major portion of your mind and you can't stop thinking about them? What will be your reply to those things which are creating a havoc in your emotional world as well as in your practical world? Like David we need to say : You come to me with depression, stress, anxieties and worries But I come to you in the name of Jesus. The prince of peace will slay each and every thing in your mind that is destroying your peace. Confessing your weaknesses to God gives Him an access to use those weakness to lead you to His strength. You can't defeat what you can't confront. You need to confront those things in prayer where God has the upp

All things.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. -Romans 8:28 There are times in our life when we think that we've messed up God's purpose in our life by our wrong decisions and we try to do things in our own way, without knowing that God can use our mess as a ingredient which is required to serve His purpose if we turn towards him and embrace his mercy for our life. No matter what life throws at us, Good things or bad things, problems or sickness, tough situations or heartbreak; if we keep on going back to God, looking for his mercy and love, then God uses all those things to take us to His greater purpose that He has for us. If we look at the story of Joseph, we see that he's been constantly tossed between awful situations and greivous circumstances and years are passing without a sign of fulfillment of God's purpose for him. Somehow the enemy's tactics intended for Joseph are comin

On my knees.

Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. -Psalms 2:8 One of the greatest privilege that God has given us is that we can come before him pouring out our soul, knowing that God is concerned about us. When we kneel before the King of kings and humble ourselves in his mighty presence and with reverence and honor we present ourselves, we're connected with Him; Not only virtually but actually. Mostly we pray about our hearts desires and needs, Oftentimes we give everything into his hands and pray about His will to be done, *and then there are only some of them who prays what God wants them to pray, they pray what God wants, what God seeks, what God longs for and for the desires in His heart.* If all of your prayers were answered by your Heavenly Father, would it change the world or just yours? A beggar can give a penny, A wage worker may give some considerable amount of his wages, A CEO of an multinational compan

Race for an Imperishable crown.

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. -1 Corinthians 9:24 The Amount of efforts we put into something is motivated by the reward we're gonna get by the completion of the work. People almost give one third of their day to the company which they work to fulfill their daily needs where they're rewarded with the remuneration. In seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, our efforts are always rewarded. Faith enables us to Run the race which is set before us even when we cannot perceive the great things God has kept in the duration of our journey as it is written in Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. We all are adopted in a living hope and we ought to run the race which is set before us with a burning zeal and passion which is fueled by Faith. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to

Do it God's way.

For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him. -Isaiah 64:4. By your patience possess your souls.(Luke 21:19) There are times when there's a constant chaos between what we want and what Lord wants for us as it is written:  "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. Even though we know that the Promise of God states that His will is better than our will and his choices are better than ours, still we have a hard time letting go of things which we've desired for so long, even if we'll convince our minds to get rid of the old desires, our heart becomes a slave to what we want. Be deeply convinced that there's a purpose of God which goes far beyond than what we desire or what we want

Be Faithful in the Sheep pen

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men. -Colossians 3:23. God's purpose will find you in the place of your Current assignment. Let's look at the life of David, it was David's faithfulness in the sheep pens that prepared him to shepherd the nation of Israel. God chose David and took him from the sheep pens(Psalms 78:70). Now the Sheep pen was a place of David's current assignment, He had a promise to become a king but he never despised his current assignment. But he remained Faithful where God has planted him and whatever he did, he did it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, singing Psalms to God, delighting himself in the Lord and encouraging himself daily in the Lord. Your current state might not look like the thing which God has promised and it might just look like the opposite of the Good life which you've desired from the Lord but our Good good father works in mysterious ways. Who can ever imagine that the Son of a Carpenter
